The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2025 holds World Cup in draughts-64 – International competitions “Türkiye-2025” in Türkiye from October 28 to November 5, 2025. The World Cup will traditionally be held in three disciplines. For the first time, a separate discipline of the World Cup will be held – the Final (give away draughts).

19-06-2025 The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2025 holds in Türkiye World Cup in draughts-64 – International competitions “Türkiye-2025”.
Venue: 5* hotel, Manavgat region, Antalya (Türkiye). The name of the hotel will be announced additionally.
Dates: from October 28 (arrival day) to November 5 (departure day), 2025.
The Credentials Committee will work on October 28 from 16.00 to 22.00.
Competitions are held in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid, Blitz (Brazilian version of draughts-64).
In each discipline winners are determined among men, women and juniors (boys and girls) up to 20 years (born in 2006 and younger) if there are at least 5 people in the age group.
Participants of the World Cup get points in the overall standing of the World Cup in accordance with the Regulations of the World Cup in draughts-64 2024-2025. The points for the places in each competition are summed up.
For the first time, a separate discipline of the World Cup will be held – give away draughts, Final.
The competition is held in the discipline of give away draughts – a classic game.
The competitions are held among men and women according to the system of micro-matches from two games without the draw of the initial moves.
