The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2025 holds World Cup in draughts-64 – International competitions “Türkiye-2025” from October 28 to November 5, 2025 in Türkiye. The World Cup raditionally holds in three disciplines. For the first time, a separate discipline of the World Cup will be held – the Final (give away draughts).

Open tournament is held according to the Swiss system by the system of micro-matches from two games with the drawing of initial moves and positions according to the official IDF table.
Winners and prize-winners among men and women are determined in competition.
In addition, winners and prize-winners are determined among juniors boys and junior girls under 20 years old (born in 2006 and younger).
All players will receive points for the overall World Cup standings in accordance with the 2024-2025 World Cup Regulations.

31-10-2025 The second program of the World Cup completed – the Blitz discipline (Brazilian version of draughts-64).

30-10-2025 The World Cup Final (give away draughts) started today. The give away draughts competition has been held for the first time.
The competition is held separately for men and women in give away draughts (classic game) by the Swiss system in 7 rounds, by the system of micro-matches consisting of two games without the draw of initial moves.
Twenty three players are participating in the competition, among them 13 men and 10 women.

The competitions are held in three disciplines: Blitz, Blitz (Brazilian version of draughts-64), Rapid.
In all disciplines, open tournaments are held according to the Swiss system by the system of micro-matches from two games with the drawing of initial moves and positions according to the official IDF tables on 01.01.2024.
In each discipline, winners and prize-winners among men and women are determined.
In addition, winners and prize-winners are determined among juniors boys and junior girls under 20 years old (born in 2006 and younger).
Players who take part in the World Cup will receive points for the overall World Cup standings in accordance with the 2024-2025 World Cup Regulations. Points for places in each competition are summed up.
The prize fund for the competition will be at least 2,400 euros.
The Blitz discipline is being held today. The competition is held according to the Swiss system in 11 rounds. 73 athletes from 9 countries are participating.

In each discipline winners are determined among men, women and juniors (boys and girls) up to 20 years (born in 2006 and younger) if there are at least 5 people in the age group.
Participants of the World Cup get points in the overall standing of the World Cup in accordance with the Regulations of the World Cup in draughts-64 2024-2025. The points for the places in each competition are summed up.
For the first time, a separate discipline of the World Cup will be held – give away draughts, Final.
The competition is held in the discipline of give away draughts – a classic game.
The competitions are held among men and women according to the system of micro-matches from two games without the draw of the initial moves.
