The International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation, in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2026 held the World Cup in draughts-64 – International competition “Uzbekistan-2026” from 9th May (arrival day) to 16th May (departure day) 2026 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
Competitions were held in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.
International Grandmasters Arsenii Tsynov and Viktoryia Nikalayeva won Blitz!
International Grandmasters Aleksandr Georgiev and Zhanna Sarshaeva won Rapid!

15-05-2025 The World Cup in Draughts-64 – International Competition “Uzbekistan-2026” has been successfully completed.
The competition was held in three disciplines: Сlassic game, Rapid and Blitz.
More than 80 players from 9 countries took part in all disciplines. Among them are 15 of the world’s strongest international grandmasters.
In each discipline, winners and prize-winners were determined in the nominations of men and women, juniors (boys and girls) under 23 and 20 years old, boys and girls under 17, 14 and 11 years old.
The winners in each discipline and in each nomination were awarded cups.
The prize-winners in each discipline in each nomination were awarded official medals and diplomas.
Players who took part in the World Cup received points for the overall World Cup standings in accordance with the Regulations on the World Cup in draughts-64 2026.

Prize-winners of the World Cup in Blitz discipline were:
10-05-2026 The World Cup in draughts-64 – International competition “Uzbekistan-2026” started today in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
At the opening ceremony, participants were greeted by Vladimir Langin, President of the International Draughts Federation (IDF); Yunus Aminjonov, IDF Vice President and President of the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation; and Aleksei Shonin, Vice President of the Russian Draughts Federation.
Following the opening ceremony, the first discipline of the World Cup, the Blitz game, began.
Seventy-four athletes from seven countries are participating, including 15 of the world’s top grandmasters.
The competition is held according to the Swiss system in 11-rounds, by the system of micro-matches from two games with a draw of initial moves and positions according to the official IDF table valid from 01.01.2024. Time control is 3’+2″.

03-02-2026 The International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation, in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2026 holds The World Cup in draughts-64 – International competition “Uzbekistan-2026” in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
Venue: Marhaba Hotel
Address: 30A Tahtagul Street, 100115, Chilanzar district, Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
Dates: from 9th May (arrival day) to 16th May (departure day), 2026.
The Credentials Committee will work on 9th May from 18.00 to 20.00.
Competitions will be held according to the international/Russian version of draughts-64 in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.
In all disciplines, open tournaments will be held according to the Swiss system in 7-9 rounds by the system of micro-matches from two games with a draw of initial moves and positions according to the official IDF table valid from 01.01.2024, obligatory in both games of micro-match.
In each discipline, winners and prize-winners among men and women are determined.
Additionally, winners and prize-winners are determined in the following categories (if there are at least 6 players in the age category):
juniors (boys and girls) under 23 years old (born in 2004-2006)
juniors (boys and girls) under 20 years old (born in 2007-2009)
boys and girls under 17 years old (born in 2010-2012)
boys and girls under 14 years old (born in 2013-2015)
boys and girls under 11 years old (born in 2016 and younger)
The prize fund of the competition will be at least 2,100 US dollars
