Ukrainian Youth Championship among boys and girls was held in age groups 10, 13, 16, 19, 23 years  in three programs: Blitz, Rapid and Classic. Total 101 players took part in competitions. Lithuanian Men Championship in draughts-64 (with the draw moves and positions) was held in Vilnius from March 6th to March 11, 2014. Andrius Kybartas won additional match for the first place Arunas Norvaishas and became the champion. Sigitas Smaidrys took 3rd place. See results HERE.

Youth Championship of Moldova (64) in age groups B16, B13, B10 in boys and G16, G13, G10 in girls was held from February 28th to March 5th in Chisinau. Competitions was held  in three programs: Blitz, Rapid and Classic. 66 players took part in competitions. See results HERE

Russian Youth Championship (64) in age groups B23, B19, B16 in boys and G23, G19, G16 in girls ended. Competitions was held  from March 3rd to March 10th in Leningrad region. Competitions was held  in three programs: Blitz, Rapid and Classic. 135 players took part in competitions. Plaudin Vladimir  (B24), Rysaev Damir (B19), Melnikov Dmitry (B16), Sarshaeva Zhanna (G24), Azarova Nyurguyana (G19), Denisova Valeria (G16) became champions in classic program. See results …

Estonian Draughts-64 Championships 2014 among men and women (Russian draughts) took place from 23 to 26 of January 2014. Championships were held by system of micro-matches, time control: 45 minutes per game + 30 seconds per move. Uutma Arno and Vainonen Kaari became champions.

National open individual draughts-64 championship of Uganda (poolcheckers) started 26th January 2014 late at about 2.30 pm on a round robin basis under the arbitration of Dan Isabirye. Youthful participant of the World Men Championship 2013 in St. Petersburg Sam Senoga from Seeta Club won.

ХХXІII International youth team competition on the Cup «Golden dame» was helds from January 4 to  January 9, 2014 in Moscow (Russia). More than 80 young players, 21 teams from three countries: Belarus, Latvia and Russia took part in the competitions. Final of World Cup 2013 – International draughts-64 competitions memory Vasily Sokov ended. Sergey Belosheyev from Evpatoria, Ukraine, won. Tournament was held from 08 December (arrival day) to 15 December 2013 in St. Petersburg, Russia. 76 players participated in 2 tournaments – World Cup and Youth tournament. Final of the 33º individual national Championship in Portugal Draughts (Damas Classicas) was played on November 23, 2013 from 10.00 a.m. in the G.D. Jose Ramiro, Lisbon.
