International competitions «Tikhvin-2012» – 3rd stage of World Cup was held from July 30 to August 6, 2012. Vladimir Skrabov won blitz and  tournament with classical time control. See final standing and standing in World Cup after 3rd stage. 

The international tournament “White Nights – 2012” – World Cup is over. Sergey Belosheev won the World Cup.  Tournament was held from July 22 till July 30 in Chigorin club, St. Petersburg, Russia. See results, parties and photos from awarding ceremony.

World Youth Championship in draughts-64 was held in the Basic School of Saints Cyril and Methodius in the town of Balchik, Bulgaria. See results and photo from awarding ceremony. 

July 28,2012 in Baden-Baden will be held Championship of Germany in draughts-64 (Brazilian version), which organizes by Germany draughts Union in Baden-Baden (Germany, Federal State of Baden-Wuerttemberg).

World Championship among men’s and women’s teams finished. World Championship among men’s teams won team TSDUSHSHOR name Nezhmetdinov, Kazan, Russia (Dmitry Tsinman, Alexander Schwarzman, Murodullo Amrillaev and Andrey Gnelitsky)  which won an additional match with the score 5:1 of the team Russia, Samara/Chelyabinsk (Oleg Dashkov, Sergey Belosheev and Alexey Shonin).

President of the FMJD Section-64 Vladimir Langin will organize one of the stage of World Cup 2013 in Italy.

Championships of Kazakhstan in draughts-64 among men, women, youth under 23 years were held in Kaskelen / 15 miles from Almaty / from 26 April to 7 May 2012.  Number of participants: 22 men, 14 women, 18 boys, 14 girls.

Personal-team European Youth Championship in draughts-64 was held in  Borisov region, Belarus, from April 27, (arrival day) till May 05, 2012. 160 players from 9 countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Ukraine) participated in the Championship.
