Preliminary calendar of the International Draughts Federation (IDF) competitions in 2018 is published HERE

All national federations must send their calendars of national championships to the IDF office by November 1, 2017 for inclusion in the general calendar of IDF competitions in 2018. We remind you that the calculation of ratings and assignment of international titles will be made only for tournaments included in the official calendar of the International Draughts Federation (IDF) competitions 2018.

Draughts Federation of Russia traditionally conducted in Loo (Sochi) from September 19 (day of arrival) to October 01, 201 Russian Championship in draughts-64 (Russian draughts) among men and women. Championship was held in three program: classic, rapid and blitz. Representatives of Yakutia Gavril Kolesov and Stepanida Kirillina won Rapid. Oleg Dashkov (Samara Region) and Olga Balukova (Moscow Region) won Blitz and Сlassic program. See results. (more…)

Estonian Blitz and Rapid Championships among men and women  was held 9th and 10th September 2017 in the city of Haapsalu. In Men Championships international grandmaster Arno Uutma won Blitz and Rapid. Piret Viirma won Blitz and Rapid in Women Championships . See results.

Personal-team World Youth Championship in draughts-64 among boys and girls traditionally was held in Sports Complex Aqualife, Kranevo, Bulgaria from 23th August (day of arrival) to 2nd September (departure day) 2017.

Personal Championship was held in three types of program: classic, blitz and rapid; and in six age groups (separately for boys and girls).

International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the calendar of the competitions in 2017 holds from August 23, (arrival day) till September 02, 2017 (departure day) at the Sports Complex «Aqualife», Kranevo (Bulgaria) World Seniors Championship in draughts-64 among men born in 1966-1957; men born in 1956 years and older; women born in 1966 years and older.

International Grandmaster Ion Dosca (Moldova) won Blitz among men and Woman IDF Master Zinaida Alexandrova (Israel) won Blitz among women. International Grandmaster Arunas Norvayshas (Lithuania) won classical program among men and Julia Kuznetsova (Russia) won classical program among women.

International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2017 holds in Kranevo (Bulgaria) World Team’s Championship in draughts-64. Competitions were held in Sports Complex Aqualife (Kranevo, Bulgaria) from 23th August (day of arrival) to 2nd September (departure day) 2017.

Competitions were held separately among men’s and women’s teams in the three types of programs: classic, rapid and blitz.

Teams of Belarus won all programs in men and in women. (more…)

International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of competitions in 2017 conducted from August 14 to August 19, 2017 in Kazan (Russia) the 4th stage of the World Cup 2017 – International competition «IX Cup of information technology». Competitions were held in the premises of the «TSSDYUSHSHOR of R.G. Nezhmetdinov» at the address: Kazan, ul. Butlerova, 7. Competitions were held in two programs: Classic and Blitz.

International Grandmaster from Kazakhstan Mirat Zhekeev won Classic program of the 4th stage of the World Cup. International Grandmaster Sergey Belosheev won Blitz. (more…)

International competition in draughts-64 “Jogeva-2017” is held from 1 August to 6 August 2017 in Jogeva, Estonia. International grandmaster Andrius Kybartas (Lithuania) won Rapid program, which took place August 1, 2017. International grandmaster Ion Dosca (Moldova) won main tournament.

The Draughts Federation of Russia and the Draughts Federation of the Moscow Region hold from 4 July (arrival day) to 14 July in Kolomna (Moscow Region) on the basis of the MBU Skating Center of Kolomna Russian Team Championship 2017 in Russian draughts. To patricipate in competitions are allowed Men’s (3 players) and women’s (2 players) teams from regions of the Russian Federation. Competitions are held in three programs: Classic, Rapid and Blitz. In men team of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) won all programs.
