The International Draughts Federation (IDF), in accordance with the IDF Competition Calendar for 2025 held World Youth Draughts-64 Championship in the age groups under 9, 11, 14, 17, 20 and 27 in Türkiye. In the age groups under 20 and 27, the World Student Championship was established. The World Youth Championship was held in the disciplines of Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.

The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2025 held World Draughts-64 Championship among veterans in Türkiye from October 28 to November 8. Competitions were held in the following age categories: Men 60 years and older (1965 year born and older); Men 50-59 years old (1975-1965 year born); Women 50 years and older (1975 year born and older). Competitions were held in the Blitz and Classic game disciplines.

The International Draughts Federation (IDF), in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2025, hеld the World Team Draughts-64 Championship in Türkiye from 2 to 8 November 2025. One men’s and one women’s team from each national federation – IDF member is allowed to participate in the competition. Team composition for men: 3 players + 3 reserve players; for women: 2 players + 2 reserve players. The World Team Championship was held in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.

The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2025 holds World Cup in draughts-64 – International competitions “Türkiye-2025” from October 28 to November 5, 2025 in Türkiye. The World Cup raditionally holds in three disciplines. For the first time, a separate discipline of the World Cup will be held – the Final (give away draughts).

The International Draughts Federation (IDF), in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2025, helds the World Team Draughts-64 Championship among boy’s and girl’s teams on November 1, 2025, in Türkiye during the World Youth Draughts-64 Championship. One team of boys and one team of girls from each national federation – IDF member was allowed to participate in the competition.
The Russian teams won the boys’ and girls’ competitions, while the Uzbekistan teams finished second. The Belarusian team finished third in the boys’ competition, while the Moldovian team took third place in the girls’ competition. See the results.

According to information from the FMJD website, published on 15.08.2025, the FMJD Board on 11.08.2025 made a decision to suspend (disqualify) players who participated in IDF tournaments or tournaments held on the territory of the Russian Federation from participation in all FMJD events, as well as FMJD continental championships, until July 31, 2026. This decision was made primarily by FMJD President Jacek Pawlicki and FMJD Acting Secretary General Vladislavs Vesperis in violation of international sports norms and the FMJD Charter itself.

The International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2025 holds The World Cup in draughts-64 – International competition “Uzbekistan-2025” in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent from May 10 to May 18, 2025.
Competitions are held in three disciplines: Classic, Rapid and Blitz.

International Grandmaster Andrei Valiuk and International Master Evgeniya Shved are the winners of the Blitz discipline. International Grandmaster Sarshaev Mazhit and International Master Arkhangelskaia Anastasiia won the Rapid discipline.
