The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2026 holds World Draughts-64 Championship among veterans from 1st November to 11th November 2026 in Türkiye. Competitions will be held in the following age categories: Men 60 years and older (1966 year born and older); Men 50-59 years old (1976-1966 year born); Women 50 years and older (1976 year born and older). Competitions will be held in the disciplines Blitz and Classic game.

The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2026 held European Youth Draughts-64 Championship in Türkiye from 20 to 29 April 2026. The Championship was held in six age groups, separately for boys and girls, in three disciplines: Classic, Rapid and Blitz game.

New ranking lists in draughts-64 for men and for women as of January 1, 2026, have been published in the Athletes / Rankings section.

International Grandmasters Ihar Mikhalchenka and Elena Scovitina are still the first in the world ranking for 2026!

The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2026 held the first international draughts-64 competition in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The competition was held in the Classic game discipline.

The winners and prize-winners among men and women, and junior-boys and junior-girls under 27, were determined based on the results of the competition.
World champions Gavril Kolesov (men), Sandaara Aprosimova (women), Denis Filatov (junior-boys under 27), and Anastasiia Arkhangelskaia (junior-girls under 27) won the Competition.

The results of the 2024-2025 World Cup in draughts-64 have been summed up. The World Cup was held in 8 stages. The World Cup stages were held in Turkey, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Russia. 412 athletes from 24 countries took part in all stages of the World Cup, including 32 International Grandmasters.

The results of the 2024-2025 World Cup were summed up separately for men and women based on the sum of points for places taken in all programs of the World Cup stages played.

International Grandmaster Mazhit Sarshaev and International Master Anastasiia Arkhangelskaia have been named the winners of the 2024-2025 World Cup! (more…)

The International Draughts Federation (IDF), in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2025 held the Draughts-64 competitions as part of the 2025 World Cup in Draughts-64 in St. Petersburg (Russia).
The following competitions are held:
1) World Cup Final (Classic game) – from December 7 (arrival day) to December 12 (departure day), 2025.
2) World Cup Stage (Rapid and Blitz) – from December 11 (arrival day) to December 14 (departure day), 2025.
