The Asian Draughts-64 Championship 2024 was held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) from April 14 to April 21, 2024. The competition was traditionally held jointly with the Asian Championships in Draughts-100 and Turkish draughts.

The Asian Draughts-64 Championship was held in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game, in the age categories of boys and girls up to 7, 9, 11, 14, 17, 20 and 23 years old; men and women; veterans – men and women 60 + years.

Muraliyev Laziz (Uzbekistan) became the absolute champion of Asia among men, winning in all disciplines! For women, Davletova Anel (Kazakhstan) became the champion in the classic game. Tazhibekova Togzhan (Kazakhstan) won Blitz, and Liu Pei (China) won Rapid!

Updated tables for drawing moves and positions have been published on the IDF website in the documents/ tables of draw section:
– Table for drawing of moves and positions for the Russian version of draughts-64 (780 positions)
– Table for drawing of moves and positions for the Brazilian version of draughts-64 (772 positions)
The tables are valid from January 1, 2024 and are recommended for official IDF competitions.

17th International Draughts 100 Tournament Saarbrücken – Open (November 10 – 11, 2023)
13th Open German Draughts-64 Championship (Brazilian version) (November 11 – 12, 2023)

Multiple champion of Asia and world youth championships, international grandmaster Altynay Jumagaldiyeva (Kazakhstan) won the Open German Championship  | Results

The results of the 2022-2023 World Cup in draughts-64 have been summed up. The World Cup was held in 7 stages. The World Cup stages took place in Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Zambia and Turkey. 272 athletes from 27 countries took part in all stages of the World Cup, including 31 international grandmasters.

The results of the 2022-2023 World Cup were summed up separately for men and women based on the sum of points for places taken in all programs of the World Cup stages played.

The winners of the 2022-2023 World Cup in draughts-64 were international grandmasters Getmansky, Alexander among men and Nikalayeva, Viktoryia among women! (more…)

The calendar of events of the International Draughts Federation (IDF) for 2024 has been published.

All annual planned events will take place in 2024. The most important event of the year will be the World Championships among men and women, which will be held at a high level and with a large prize fund.

The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2023 held in Türkiye from October 20 to October 29, 2023 World Youth Draughts-64 Championship.
The Championship was held separately among boys and girls in age groups up to 9, 11, 14, 17, 20 and 27 years in three disciplines – Blitz, Rapid and Classic.

The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2023 held in Türkiye from October 20 to October 29, 2023 World Veterans Draughts-64 Championship.
Competitions were held in the age categories:
Men 60 years and older (1963 year born and older);
Men 50-59 years old (1973-1963 year born);
Women 50 years and older (1973 year born and older)
