International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the calendar of the competitions in 2019 held from August 22 till September 01, 2019 in the Sports Complex «Aqualife», Kranevo (Bulgaria) World Championship in draughts-64 among veterans in the age groups: men 60 years and older (1959 year born and older); men 50-59 years old (1969-1959 year born); women 50 years and older (1969 year born and older). Participants on the date of the start of the competition must be fulfilled the required number of years. Championship was held in the two types of programs: Classic and Blitz.  See results. (more…)

Competitions were held in two types of programs: Blitz and Rapid.

International grandmaster Andrei Valiuk (Belarus) won both programs.

International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2019 held in Kranevo (Bulgaria) from 25th August (arrival day) to 1st September 2019 (departure day) World Team’s Championship in draughts-64. Competitions were held separately among men’s and women’s teams in two types of programs: classic and blitz.

In the men’s championship, the team of Lithuania won Blitz program, the team of Russia won Classic program. In the women’s championship, the team  of Belarus won in both programs.

The International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with the Bulgarian Draughts Federation in accordance with the Calendar of Competitions for 2019 from August 19 to September 1, 2019 held training events and international draughts-64 competitions in Kranevo (Bulgaria). Traditional Open Draughts Tournament “White Nights-2019” was held from July 13 (arrival day) to July 21 (departure day) 2019 in St. Petersburg (Russia). Three separate competitions were held within the framework of the tournament: an open-tournament among men and women and separate competitions among boys and girls in the age groups 2003-2005, 2006-2008, 2009-2010, 2011 and younger. All competitions were held in two programs: Classic and Blitz. International grandmaster Yevgeny Kondrachenko (Belarus) won open tournaments for men and women in both programs. See results. (more…)

International grandmaster Aleksej Domcev (Lithuania) won Blitz and Rapid. International master Dmitrii Melnikov won Classic program. In women Maryna Kasian (Ukraine) won Blitz, Anna Filipenko (Russia) won Rapid and Svetlana Streltsova (Russia) won Classic program.  (more…)

Asian Championships in draughts-64, Turkish draughts and draughts-100 are held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) from June 19 to July 2, 2019. The Asian Draughts-64 Championship was held from 19 to 25 June under the auspices of the International Draughts Federation IDF and was qualifying for the World Draughts-64 Championship 2019 among men and women, which will be held in Sveti Vlas (Bulgaria) from September 1 to 10. Competitions in draughts-64 were held in the age categories: veterans 60 years and older; men and women; juniors and youths (boys and girls) up to 20, 17, 14, 11, 9 years. Championships of Belarus in draughts-64 among men and women (final) were held from May 24 till June 2, 2019 in the Republican Center of Olympic training for chess and draughts (Minsk, str. of Marks, 10).

International Grandmasters Ihar Mikhalchenka and Vera Khvashchynskaya became national champions among men and women. (more…)
