6^th Stage of World Cup – International competition “Israel-2016” was held in Haifa (Israel) from November 25 (day of arrival) to December 1, 2016.

International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2016  together with the Draughts Federation of Georgia holds from 11^th November (arrival day) till 20^th November (departure day) 2016 in Tbilisi (Georgia) European Draughts-64 Championships among men and women.  Competitions are qualifying for the World Championship 2017.

From 2 to 6 November 2016 Bendery hosted the VII Memorial of honored coach MSSR Nikolay Gringruz. 111 players from different regions of Pridnestrov’e, Gagauzia, Moldova and Ukraine took part in the tournament, which was an absolute record for all years.

7th Open German Draughts-64 Championship (Brazilian Version) was held in Saarbrücken (Germany) within the 11th International Tournament Saarbrücken-Open from the 21th to the 22th October 2016. Alexander Bleicher won championship, Igor Elvov took the second place, Mikhail Zlobinskiy took the third place.

From 13 to 16 October 2016 in Kazan was held Memorial of R. Nezhmetdinov in Russian draughts among boys and girls up to 10 and 13 years. Memorial of. R. Nezhmetdinov, known masters of chess and draughts, is held in Kazan for many years. In recent years, he has received the status of the World Cup and has the name “Cup of information technology.” But it was the competition for adults. And now the youth competitions. The competition was held at a high organizational level, the participants expressed their desire to make this event a tradition.

The meeting of the IDF Board took place in St. Petersburg on 15 October. The meeting considered the results of the TAFISA World Sports Games, admission of new members, disciplinary matters, have been approved the new international titles, addressed issues of current activities.

VI TAFISA World Sports Games completed. 12,000 athletes from 87 countries in 62 sports participated in the competition.

The competition was held under the patronage of the IOC, TAFISA and UNESCO. At the opening ceremony, which took place on October 8 at the famous Anchol Park, World Sports Games opened Indonesian President Joko Widodo, the participants welcomed the President of TAFISA, a representative of the IOC and other officials. International Draughts Federation (IDF) according to the calendar of competitions 2016 holds in Jakarta (Indonesia) from 6 to 12 October 2016 International Draughts-64 Competition in the framework of the 6^th TAFISA World Sport for all Games 2016. The competition is held with the support of the Foundation for Assistance of development of Draughts Sports “Russian Draughts”.
