From June 13 (arrival day) to June 20 (departure day) 2022, the Kuremaa castle, Jõgeva region (Estonia) will host the International competition “Jõgeva 2022”, which has the status of the 2nd stage of the 2022 World Cup in draughts-64.
Kuremaa Castle is well known to draughts players. The European Draughts-64 Championship among men and women in 2021, the stages of the World Cup in 2018 and 2019 were held here at a high level.
From 8 to 10 October, the finals of the Latvian draughts-64 championships among men and women were held in the cultural center of Bauska. The competition was attended by 9 participants in the women’s competition and 10 participants in the men’s. The tournaments were held in a round robin system, micro-matches of 2 games, time control 25 minutes + 10 seconds. Robert Misans and Marija Magdalena Nereda became the champions of Latvia 2021! The Uzbekistan Youth Team Championship was held from 8 to 15 October in the city of Gulistan (Uzbekistan). Composition of teams: 5 boys and 5 girls, 1 player in each age category (boys, girls up to 20, 17, 14, 11 and 9 years old).
Competitions were held in two programs: Rapid and Blitz.
8 teams took part in the competition.

IDF Board meeting took place on October 2, 2021. The preliminary calendar 2022 was reviewed and approved. According the results of the World Team Championship in Bulgaria and the European Championship in Estonia, new international titles were awarded to the players and arbiters. IDF membership applications reviewed and approved. The issues of the current activities of the federation were considered. (more…)

International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the calendar of the competitions in 2021 holds together with Jõgeva Draughts Club and the Estonian Draughts Union personal-team European Draughts-64 Championship among men and women. Championship is held from September 10 (arrival day) to September 19, 2021 (departure day) in Kuremaa, Jõgeva region (Estonia) and is qualifying for the World Championship 2022. Alexander Shvartsman (Russia) and Vera Khvaschinskaya (Belarus) became European champions 2021 in Rapid. Ihar Mikhalchenka and Palina Petrusiova (both Belarus) became the European champions 2021 in Blitz. Ihar Mikhalchenka and Yana Yakubovich became European champions in draughts-64! (more…)
The International Draughts Federation (IDF) held 15 August, 4 and 5 September 2021 Online Draughts-64 Tournaments within the framework of the 25th Mind Sports Olympiad 2021 (MSO).

August 15th – MSO/IDF Russian Draughts Tournament
September 4th – MSO/IDF Brazilian Draughts Tournament
September 5th – MSO/IDF Pool Checkers Draughts Tournament
Personal-team World Youth Championship in draughts-64 among boys and girls in Bulgaria completed. Competitions were held from 22 to 30 August 2021 in Sports Complex Aqualife, Kranevo, Bulgaria. Personal Championship was held in six age groups in three types of program: classic, blitz and rapid. Team standings in the overall team classification and classification among teams of boys and girls were determinated. Offset of the World Championship among students was established in the age groups up to 27 and 20 years old. See the results. (more…)

International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2021 held in Kranevo (Bulgaria) from 24th August (arrival day) to 30th August 2021 (departure day) World Team’s Championship in draughts-64. Competitions were held separately among men’s and women’s teams in two types of programs: classic and blitz.
In Blitz program team of Belarus won in men and team of Moldova won in women. In Classic program teams of Belarus won in men and in women. (more…)
