The European Youth Championship will be held in Kobuleti (Georgia) from May 2 to 10, 2020. During the European Youth Championship in Kobuleti (Georgia), from May 4 to 10, 2020, the Stage of World Cup 2020 will be held.
The European Championship among men and women will be held in Jõgeva (Estonia) from September 11 to 20, 2020.

Standings in all programs of the World Cup 2019 after the 4th stage has been updated. See the current standings HERE. The final stage of the World Cup 2019 will be held in Portimão (Portugal) from 2nd November (arrival day) to 9th November (departure day) 2019. On 2nd November, the traditional match Portugal against the whole world in Portuguese draughts will be held. An invitation for the competition will be published soon.

World Draughts-64 Championship among men and women 2019 was held in Bulgaria, in the city of Sveti Vlas, from September 1 (arrival day) to September 10 (departure day), 2019. World championship was held in three categories: Classic, Rapid and Blitz. 95 players from 34 countries took part in competitions.
Representatives of Belarus, international grandmasters – Ihar Mikhalchenka and Darya Fedarovich became winners of the Rapid among men and women respectively. International grandmaster Dmitry Tsinman (Russia) and international master Yana Yakubovich (Belarus) won Blitz among men and women. The International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with the Bulgarian Draughts Federation in accordance with the Calendar of Competitions for 2019 held the International Draughts-64 Tournament among men and women in Sveti Vlas (Bulgaria) from September 1 to 10, 2019. Competitions were held in three programs: classic, Blitz and Rapid.

The Draughts Association of India held on September 1, 2019 the first draughts-64 tournament among boys and girls in India.
Draughts tournament was organized at Seth Hukum Chand S.D public school – Jalandhar, Punjab (state unit). In this tournament chief Guest was Mrs. Amita Khanna, Principal who honoured the winners by medals.
In this tournament 150 players took participation under the age groups: under 9 years, under 11 years, under 13 years, under 15 years, under 17 years, under 19 years and above. (more…)
Personal-team World Youth Championship in draughts-64 among boys and girls was held from 22nd August to 1st September 2019 in Sports Complex Aqualife, Kranevo, Bulgaria. Personal Championship was held in six age groups in three types of program: classic, blitz and rapid. Team standings in the overall team classification and classification among teams of boys and girls were determinated. For the first time during the World Youth Championship, the World Youth Team Championship was held for boys’ teams and girls’ teams. World Youth Championship 2019 completed. See results. (more…)
International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the calendar of the competitions in 2019 held from August 22 till September 01, 2019 in the Sports Complex «Aqualife», Kranevo (Bulgaria) World Championship in draughts-64 among veterans in the age groups: men 60 years and older (1959 year born and older); men 50-59 years old (1969-1959 year born); women 50 years and older (1969 year born and older). Competitions were held in two types of programs: Blitz and Rapid.
International grandmaster Andrei Valiuk (Belarus) won both programs.

International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2019 held in Kranevo (Bulgaria) from 25th August (arrival day) to 1st September 2019 (departure day) World Team’s Championship in draughts-64. Competitions were held separately among men’s and women’s teams in two types of programs: classic and blitz.
In the men’s championship, the team of Lithuania won Blitz program, the team of Russia won Classic program. In the women’s championship, the team of Belarus won in both programs.
