International Draughts Federation (IDF) – FMJD Section-64 in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2015 holds from 2^nd October (arrival day) to 11^th  October (departure day), 2015 World Championships in draughts-64 among men and women. Championship ended. Russian Championship among men and women in Russian draughts was held in Loo (Sochi) from 18 (day of arrival) to 30 September. The strongest grandmasters of the world: current world champion Nikolay Struchkov, world champions in different years Gavril Kolesov, Sergey Belosheyev, Yuri Korolev in men and  current world champion among women Zhanna Sarshaeva take part in competitions. Final of the 5th championship of France 64 was held in Dijon, from 19 to 20 September. TOP 8 played on the Olympic system  1/4, 1/2 and 1/1. Micro-match, 2 games X 45 min + 10 “. Cédric DUSART won in final FAUCHER Stéphane and become champion of France 2015. Table

General Assembly FMJD will held  in Izmir, Turkey, on October 11, 2015. FMJD Board represent a new FMJD Statutes for approval of General Assembly. New FMJD Statutes (The new version of the unaccepted Statute 2012) artificially establishes the dominant position of draughts 100 and discrimination of all other kinds of draughts. (more…)

International tournament in draughts-64 “Jogeva-2015” was held from July 27 to July 31, 2015 in Jõgeva Gymnasium (Jogeva, Rokhu str. 10, Estonia). International Grandmaster Guntis Valneris from Riga (Latvia) won.
