The Championship of Moldova in draughts-64 among boys and girls up to 11 and 9 years old was held from 6 to 10 March 2019 in the capital of Moldova, Chisinau. The competitions were held in three programs: classic, Rapid and Blitz. 72 players took part in the competition. See the results and photo.

Championship of the Republic of Belarus among boys and girls up to 9 years completed
Youth Championship of Republic of Belarus among boys and girls up to 9 years old was held from 2 to 3 March 2019 at the Chess and Draughts Sports School in the city of Minsk, capital of Belarus. 67 players took part in the competition. Israeli Men Championship completed
Final of Israeli Men Championship in Russian draughts ended March 2, 2019 in the city of Haifa. 14 participants played the title of champion of the country in the robin round system. The international master Dmitry Ganopolsky became the Israeli champion 2019. (more…)

Championships of Latvia among men and women completed
In the Latvian capital, Riga, the finals of the Latvian championships in draughts-64 among men and women completed. For men, competitions were held from February 21 to 24, and for women, from February 22 to 24. Youth Championships of Republic of Belarus in draughts-64 among juniors and boys and girls in the age groups up to 11, 14, 17, 20 and 27 years were held from 18 to 24 February 2019 at the Chess and Draughts Sports School in the capital of Belarus, Minsk. 139 players from all regions of Belarus took part in the competitions. The Championship of Moldova among women in draughts-64 was held in the capital of Moldova, Chisinau from 8 to 17 February 2019. The competitions were held in three programs: classic, Rapid and Blitz. Champion of Moldova in Claccis program become the international master Cristina Zaruba. Champion of Moldova in Blitz and Rapid programs become the International Grandmaster Elena Scovitina. IDF calendar 2019 updated. Updated calendar posted HERE
The 2019 World Cup Final will be held in Portimão (Portugal), which received in 2019 the status of European city of sport.
The International Draughts-64 Tournament will take place in the capital of Japan, Tokyo, from 13 (day of arrival) to 18 (day of departure) November 2019.
The World Draughts-64 Championship among men and women is scheduled for September 2019 with a large prize fund. (more…)

In the section Events – World Cup 2019 – Regulations published Regulations of the World Cup 2019 in draughts-64. New in the World Cup 2019 – there will be a separate summing up in three nominations: classic, blitz and rapid. While 5 stages are planned. It is possible to include additional stages. Calendar of competitions for 2019 updated
In the section Events – Calendar 2019 the updated calendar of competitions for 2019 is published. Added one more stage of the World Cup, which will be held in August 2019 during the World Championships among youth, veterans and teams in Bulgaria. Years of birth for the admission of participants in the World Championship among veterans changed. Now, the admission of participants will be not by year of birth, but by date of birth, i.e. the onset of the required age at the beginning of the tournament. See updated calendar HERE
