In Georgia, in the city of Kobuleti, the European Youth Championship in draughts-64 was held from 3 to 11 October, 2022. Competitions were held separately for boys and girls in 6 age groups up to 9, 11, 14, 17, 20 and 27 years old in three disciplines – Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.

Within the framework of the competition, three separate tournaments were held:

ATTENTION!
Due to the impossibility of holding the last stages of the 2022 World Cup in Portugal and Israel, the IDF Board decided to extend the World Cup for 2023 and sum up the results of the World Cup at the end of 2023 (at least 6 stages).

World Youth Championship in draughts-64 among boys and girls traditionally was held in Sports Complex Aqualife, Kranevo, Bulgaria from August 21 to September 1, 2022.
World Youth Championship was held separately for boys and girls in three disciplines: classic game, blitz and rapid; and in six age groups.

International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the calendar of the competitions in 2022 held from August 22 to September 1, 2022 in the Sports Complex «Aqualife», Kranevo (Bulgaria) World Championship in draughts-64 among veterans in the age groups:
Men 60 years and older (1962 year born and older);
Men 50-59 years old (1972-1962 year born);
Women 50 years and older (1972 year born and older).

The International Draughts Federation (IDF) according to the IDF Board’s decision from 23 June 2022 holds 24 August 2022 in Kranevo (Bulgaria) during the World Draughts-64 Championships the reporting and election General Assembly of International Draughts Federation (IDF).
Vladimir Langin was elected President of the IDF for another term.

From June 14 to June 26, Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, held the Asian Championship in draughts 64, 100 and Turkish draughts. Draughts-64 competitions were held from 14 to 21 June.
Competitions were held in three programs: Classic, Rapid and Blitz in all age categories: men, women, veterans, juniors (boys and girls) up to 23 and 20 years old; boys and girls up to 17, 14, 11 and 9 years old.
More than 200 players took part in draughts-64 competitions.
